Outlook Windows Ltd has recently achieved the exacting standards required to gain accreditation to the prestigious Double Glazing & Conservatory Quality Assurance Ombudsman Scheme (DGCOS), which offers you all the protection and safeguards you need. We are currently only one of two companies in Hertfordshire to gain this esteemed accreditation, which requires a comprehensive vetting procedure and offers unparalleled consumer protection. This scheme has the backing of Nick Ross (former BBC Watchdog & Crimewatch presenter).

But briefly, all DGCOS registered customers will receive:
- Free access to The Ombudsman to protect you and give you peace of mind.
- A Deposit Protection Certificate to guarantee any deposits you pay.
- A 10 year Guarantee on installations carried out by members.
- A 10 year Insurance Backed Guarantee to underwrite this guarantee.
- Access to the DGCOS Compensation Fund to honour any awards made by the Ombudsman.
To be accepted into the scheme, it may give you peace of mind to know that we have met the comprehensive vetting scheme, which includes briefly:-
- The DGCOS will have received a minimum of 10 customer references (of installations carried out within the last 12 months) who can be independently approached for quality assurance purposes.
- The DGCOS will have taken a minimum of 3 supplier references who can be independently approached for quality assurance purposes.
- We are required to submit a copy of our Health & Safety policy.
- We are required to carry a minimum insurance of a) £5m Public Liability, b) £10m Employers Liability.
- We are required to provide every customer with a written contract to include our Terms and Conditions and also a Written Guarantee.
- We provide every customer with Deposit Protection Insurance (where a deposit has been taken) and every customer with an Insurance Backed Guarantee.
- We are required to allow DGCOS Inspectors to inspect any installation, if deemed necessary and also to allow DGCOS to send every customer a Satisfaction Questionnaire.
- We are required to submit to the legal jurisdiction of DGCOS and the Ombudsmen.
